An original farmhouse that needed to be updated to fit today's needs. The client's lifestyle centered around family and cooking so we brought the two together by creating open spaces. The kitchen, dining and family areas open into one another, unifying major family activities.
Set among fields and groves of trees, we wanted to take advantage of the pristine sights. We focused on maximizing the views by creating large banks of windows in family gathering areas. This not only allowed for extra natural daylighting, but visually opened the space to the outdoors.
